Dr. Cristian Naudy

Visiting Professor, National Institute of Neurosurgery, Dr. Asenjo

Dr. Cristian Naudy is a renowned neurosurgeon with deep expertise in vascular and skull base surgery. He trained across Ecuador, the U.S., and Chile, earning his MD from Universidad Mayor in Santiago before completing his neurosurgery residency at the prestigious Instituto de Neurocirugía Dr. Asenjo, where he continues to serve as a core member of the vascular and skull base team and as Deputy Chief of Emergency Services.

Dr. Naudy further honed his skills through a research fellowship in skull base endoscopy at The Ohio State University and advanced training in vascular and pituitary surgery. As a committed educator, he currently directs and teaches in multiple post-residency fellowship programs at the University of Chile, training the next generation of neurosurgeons in complex cranial base, pituitary, and oculoplastic techniques.

His academic work includes influential publications on endonasal anatomy, carotid artery mapping, and approaches to complex skull base tumors. A meticulous anatomist and dedicated surgeon, Dr. Naudy joins the RMP Skull Base team as an invited professor, sharing his expertise to advance global education in neurosurgical excellence.
